Activities:
Day 1:
- Pickup from your hotel by truck at around 9-9.30 am.
- Drive for approximately 1 hour to Mae Tang District.
- Stop at a local market to buy food and other necessary supplies.
- Drive for 30 minutes to Doi Lom Elephant Sanctuary where the trek begins.
- Trek for 4 hours, taking breaks along the way, explore the bat cave, enjoy the nature and mountain views.
- Arrive at Lahu village around 4.00 pm.
- Enjoy dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2:
- Have breakfast.
- Walking about 5 hours. Walking through beautiful jungle to enjoy the nature, amazing views and wildlife, swim and relax at waterfall.
- Have fun white water rafting about 1 hour.
- Drive back to Doi Lom Elephant Sanctuary, check-in enjoy dinner and overnight.
- Day 3:
- Start your day with breakfast and change into Mahout clothing.
- Learn about the history and behavior of Asian elephants.
- Meet the elephants, feed them and play with them closely.
- Learn how to make vitamin balls for the elephants.
- Take the elephants for a walk and feed them
- Bathe and brush the elephants at the river
- Drive back to Chiang Mai and arrive around 5:00 pm.
